The Daily Cubicle

Mom jokes DO get old.

I know, I know, I can’t really complain, I mean-it is ‘cool’ in a way to work in a corporate environment that is so laid back where it is ok, even encouraged to make Mom Jokes, but it’s getting ridiculous. I do laugh at these jokes though, especially when they are really bad (or really dirty), for example, in a recent meeting we were discussing how a dark crater area of the moon that was never checked out before has been found to have “significant water”…and so, instantly someone says (barely able to hold in the joke)

.

“I checked out your mom’s dark crater last night…!!!

.

Yes, creative, pretty creative, but it’s gotten to the point where  I expect Mom Jokes at every corner, every meeting, every lunchtime gathering at work…sometimes they are bad, but…I admit, sometimes good….but, is there such thing as TOO MANY MOM JOKES?

.

I mean, sometimes I come to work to….waaaaaaaaaaait for it……WORK!!

.

.

.

.

and heard quietly in the background

<”I worked your mom this morning….”>
